Engine of Hope is a South Carolina nonprofit corporation. Our application for recognition of federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) is pending with the IRS.
Tax information
Federal tax-exempt recognition is currently pending. Donation receipts acknowledge contributions but do not guarantee tax deductibility. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.
How contributions are used
Contributions support the Recovery Box Program and the essential supplies, storage, and delivery costs needed to serve approved recipients in South Carolina, along with the basic administrative costs of operating the organization. Additional programs are funded only as resources, trained volunteers, qualified partners, and proper safeguards allow.
