Fire Victim Recovery Program

Case management and long-term recovery for households displaced by every kind of fire.

Planned program — in development. This program is not operating yet. Engine of Hope is launching with the Recovery Box Program and emergency resource referrals; additional programs will be introduced as funding, trained volunteers, qualified partners, and proper safeguards become available.

We serve families and individuals affected by residential fires, apartment fires, mobile home fires, commercial fires, vehicle fires, and wildfires — matching each household with a case manager who guides them through the recovery process.

What case management includes

  • One dedicated case manager for the entire recovery
  • Help navigating insurance, FEMA, and Red Cross claims
  • Furniture, appliance, and household re-establishment grants
  • Housing search, rental deposit, and relocation assistance
  • School re-enrollment, childcare, and children's needs
  • Referrals for mental health, legal, and medical services

Who we serve

Whether the fire damaged a single-family home, a multi-unit apartment, a business, or a vehicle, our Fire Victim Recovery Program is designed to help survivors replace what was lost and rebuild with dignity.

Help us get ready to serve.

Volunteers and founding partners are what will make the Recovery Box Program possible in South Carolina.
