Medical & Rehabilitation Support Program

Supporting Recovery Beyond the Hospital.

Connecting eligible individuals with recovery resources, rehabilitation support, adaptive equipment, and community partners that promote healing and long-term well-being.

Planned program — in development

The Medical & Rehabilitation Support Program is not operating yet. This page describes what we are designing. Engine of Hope is launching in South Carolina with the Recovery Box Program and emergency resource referrals; additional programs will be introduced as funding, trained volunteers, qualified partners, and proper safeguards become available.

Recovery from a burn injury or fire-related trauma often continues long after leaving the hospital. Physical therapy, rehabilitation, specialized equipment, follow-up appointments, and ongoing medical needs can create significant challenges for survivors and their families.

The Medical & Rehabilitation Support Program helps connect eligible individuals with recovery resources, rehabilitation support, adaptive equipment, and community partners that promote healing, independence, and long-term well-being.

Engine of Hope does not provide medical treatment or medical advice. Our role is to provide supportive assistance and connect survivors with trusted healthcare providers and recovery resources whenever possible.

Our team reviews the survivor's current recovery needs and identifies areas where Engine of Hope may be able to provide supportive assistance or referrals.

Step 3

We coordinate available support through Engine of Hope programs and trusted healthcare and community partners.
